CHAP Dominica is standing solidly behind its regional counterparts in calling on Caricom leaders to decriminalizing homosexuality and address the scourge of homophobia affecting Caribbean society.
In a statement sponsored by a Coalition of Caribbean LGBTI & HIV /AIDS organizations, the group contends that state sponsored homophobia undermines citizenship security in the Caribbean.

Six more Dominicans have been awarded tuition waiver scholarships to pursue undergraduate studies at the Midwestern State University (MWSU) in Wichita Falls Texas beginning this Fall.
