Lime paid out fifty thousand to winner of Chirstmas promotion
A forty-one year old, single mother of two boys from the village of Giraudel is fifty thousand dollars richer thanks to telecommunications company LIME.
Patricia Xavier of Giraudel received her cheque today after emerging as the lucky winner of the LIME Christmas promotion grand prize draw.
Ms Xavier was presented with her prize money during a ceremony at the LIME Roseau Conference Room today along with other weekly prize winners of the Christmas promotion. Over a total of one hundred and forty thousand dollars in cash and prizes were given away this season with more than 800 winners. Some of the prizes won included instant credit, t-shirts, Jenga, MP3 players, Michael Jackson CD’s, Supermarket, Petrol & Home Good Vouchers, Blackberry Smartphones, cash and more.
To qualify customers were encouraged to topup $20 and over, talk for three minutes or more on their LIME mobiles, text Xmas to LIME, signup for any new LIME service or pay their bills in full and on time. And from the hundreds of winners, by simply talking for more than 3 minutes on her LIME phone, Patricia Xavier’s bank account is $50,000 fatter.
An excited but nervous Patricia thanked LIME for affording her the opportunity to win the fifty thousand cash prize and encouraged customers to continue supporting the company. Her intended use for the money is to clear some existing debts and do some repair works to her home. It will also assist in helping her care for her parents who are both over eighty years old.
LIME Country Manager Jeffrey Baptiste congratulated both Patricia and the other winners and commented that LIME is simply keeping to its promise of creating a better place for all our customers. He encouraged the grand prize winner to make good use of the money received from LIME.
