Cuffed - Sentenced and Jailed

Andy Prosper and Curtis Richards, also known as Shakes of Newtown, have been charged for murder and conspiracy to murder.

They were arrested last week on connection with the murders of Mannison Thomas aka Shabeh of Fond St. Jean, Kenneth Birmingham aka Kamala of Kings Hill and Allan Bardouille of Newtown.

The three were found dead in a boat 26 miles off the coast of Salisbury last week.

Police confirmed that the boat belongs to Curtis Shakes Richards.

The men appeared at the Roseau Magistrate’s Court this morning and magistrate Candia George declared that the men remain in custody at the Stock Farm Prison until the date of their trial on March 09, 2010.

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit is demanding an apology from the Opposition United Workers Party for misleading the nation on the Layou River Hotel court matter.
