The Kingston’ Educating Youth on Drug and Alcohol Abuse

Peter and Susan Kingston-a married couple who survived a terrible past-are here in Dominica educating the youth on the ills of drug and alcohol abuse.

The married couple has been travelling the world conducting drug awareness programmes at schools and colleges.

Kingston says he is surprised that the use of illegal durgs is so rampant in Dominica.

“I have to say that we are a little shock when I see drugs being sold so publicly in Dominica. We have been offered weed and we have seen people with weed, rolling it and asking that we buy it. That’s sad. It is surprising that it is so common and widespread,” he added.

Meantime Susan Kingston is calling for the construction of a rehab center for drug users in Dominica.

“They do not know what to do when they go pot. I don’t see how they can cope with society,” she added.
