Skerrit urgers citizens to follow Lime's lead in corporate responsibility
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit says Dominica’s development cannot be left to government alone.
He told the official opening of LIME’s annual Creole in the Park on Monday, that other citizens should emulate the cooperate leadership demonstrated by the telecommunications company.
“We have always been grateful for the many years that you have been here, investing in education, in your staff, in culture and the overall upliftment of this country. We really appreciate that corporate responsibility that you continue to amplify and you continue to be a leader in that regard,” he said.
Prime Minister Skerrit said other corporate citizens should realize that they too have a part to play in developing Dominica.
“The development of our country cannot be limited only to government, it is for all of us as Dominicans because together we must build Dominica, together we must build a brighter future for our people and they have an improved standard of living,” he said.
Creole in the Park ends on Thursday.
