The Waitikubuli Dance Theatre Company is celebrating 38 years of creative dance with a production called “Dance Alive” at the Arawak House of Culture. That event will be staged Saturday and Sunday.
Chief Cultural Officer Raymond Lawrence says there will be a number of new creative pieces from choreographers like Michael Ferrol and Juanita Jules.
“We have two groups within the company. A senior group and a junior group. We have special guest artists like Tasha Peltier. Divine, Carnival Queen and the Paix Bouche drummers. It will be very exciting,” he said.
