United Workers Party Stage Silent Protest Outside DBS Radio

The United Workers Party staged a min silent protest outside the premises of the state owned DBS radio on Thursday to demonstrate their disapproval over what they perceive as an aattempt by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the station and authorities led by PM Skerrit to silence the opposition. Both Green and James contended that the unilateral ban imposed on broadcasting political ads and rally’s is a carefully orchestrated move design to bestow an unfair advantage on the ruling DLP. The situation has prompted the UWP and other opposition parties to call for a free and fair election and election monitors to ensure the same. The protest was stage by some senior members of the Management Committee of the UWP.

What about when Edison had ban access to DBS in 2000 when he was Prime Minister? Stop trying to fool people and go do something constructive with all you time,
