Prime Minister the Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit put to rest all speculation and declared Friday 8th December 2009 as Election Day in Dominica. December 2nd is Nomination Day. Before announcing the snap election, PM Skerrit outlined his vision for Dominica.
Although the general election is less than thirty days away, political parties contesting the election denied being taken by surprise and say they are ready to take on the Dominica Labour Party.
