
Ron Green and UWP to dialogue with the Dominican Diaspora
In what is dubbed to be a Creole tete`a tete , with smoke braff , black pudding and accra titiwee, Leader of the Opposition Hon Ron Green, will meet and Dialogue with visiting and returned Dominicans, this Monday evening from 6pm to 9pm, at the Harlem Plaza, next to the Newtown Savannah.
Dominicans, One People. At Home and Abroad.
According to Coordinator of the function and MP for Roseau Central, Hon. Norris Prevost, the theme of the evening will be:
Dominicans, One People, at Home and Abroad . This will be a two way dialogue. We want to hear from the visiting and returned Dominicans, and to share with them, some of our ideas, and Policies for rebuilding our beloved Dominica. In his brief address the Leader of the Opposition will share with visiting and returned Dominicans, on the critical importance of fully including all Dominicans at home and abroad in Dominica’s development. The New Clean and Green Policy, the Role of the Indigenous Kalinago People and the Rastafarian Community will also be featured in the evenings Dialogue.
The evening will be a very informal Creole Tete `a Tete, where our visiting Dominicans will have ample time for asking questions, making their comments, and interacting one on one with the Leader of the Opposition, Hon. Ron Green, and other Members of Parliament, including Former Prime Minister Hon. Edison James, Hon. Claudius Sanford, who is the first member of the Kalinago People to be elected to the High Office of Deputy Political Leader of a major Political Party in Dominica; Hon. Abraham Brown, Member for Riviere Cyrique, Hon. Norris Charles, Member for the Roseau Valley Constituency .
Of course, in keeping with the Independence atmosphere, we will have one of Dominica’s best jinping bands, plus Steelband, and some nice creole mouth watering food and drinks, to go with the occasion.
And conversation will be in Creole and English.
